Misa Sunny Side Up Spring 2014 Collection
Although here in Boulder it doesn't feel like we got a spring, I'm still happy to wear spring colors. Today I'm sharing the Misa Sunny Side Up collection with you, which includes a variety of spring colors.
I chose three and a complementary non-Misa grey polish for the Sunny Side Up nail art!
Here's the swatches of the shades, which all needed only two coats (except Dusty Magnolia, the sandy shade used in my nail art).
Blue Jade Vine (2 coats) is what I call a stone blue. It'd make an awesome base to the new 'stone nails' technique popping up everywhere. If you haven't tried it yet, I originally saw it on cutepolish's channel here.
Cherry Blossom Awesome (2 coats) is a hot Barbie pink creme, though it's not neon.
Chrysanthemum (2 coats) is a light pastel pink with tiny flecks of shimmer. Almost like someone took a flaky polish to a shredder and sprinkled the leftovers in this Easter pink.
Dusty Magnolia (3 coats) is a great nude, but what makes it different is the subtle gold shimmer you catch in the right light. The gold shimmer doesn't quite translate on nails as strongly as it does in the bottle, but you can see it a bit.
Loveliest of Lilacs (2 coats) is just...ugh GOD it's gorgeous. It's so strong and bold. Definitely a purple with a purpose!
Last but not least is Silly Daffodils (2 coats). It may not be a color some people lot, but this dark taxi cab yellow (or bright mustard creme) is a winner to me.
Dying to get your hands on this collection? Pick it up online through the Misa store here! My personal favorites are Loveliest of Lilacs and Silly Daffodils. What are your's?
These products were sent to me by Misa. The reviews are based entirely on my experience with the products and were in no way influenced by anyone.
